Site/Equipment Cleanup

(Part Time, After School)

Hours per week: 5 to 15 hours/week, 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm, Monday to Thursday, to 5:00

Friday, with occasional weekend work available

Wage: $14.50 to $16.00/Hour

Work Location: 242 Beaver Bank Road, Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia

We need someone to help with day end cleanup of our firewood production line and to help around the landscape yard. This job requires you to use both your body and your mind.

Required:

• Physically fit and enjoy physically demanding tasks

• Enjoy helping others and keeping things organized

• Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions

• To adhere to safety procedures, able to stay focused on the job

• Demonstrate reliability, (show up on time and ready to work)

• Able to record basic information including fuel usage accurately and legibly

• Safety conscious and able to follow instructions

∙ Be able to work with minimal supervision

∙ Must provide own steel-toed safety boots and work gloves

• No smoking or strongly scented products allowed in our vehicles, on our work site, or in

company buildings

Preferred but not necessary to:

• Have Emergency First Aid certification

• Be willing to help with other parts of the operation

• Have good attention to detail,

There is potential for additional work:

• Stacking firewood

• Bagging stone and mulch products

• Serving customers

• Keeping the yard clean and organized

Salary is $14.50 to $16.00/hr based on performance/responsibilities.
